Simply put, Sprint has really upgraded its service and also offers competitive rates.
For a long time, I was with Verizon. Their network is really good but their pricing is very steep. What I did not like about Verizon was that their customer service in the store seemed a little hard to access. By that I mean they seemed to be working off a script. I always left the store feeling like I had missed something and sure enough when the bill came…
Sprint delivers on its promise
A great value network in terms of plans, coverage, and connectivity.
What sold it to me was how great the Staff at Sprint in Berkeley CA were. I was served by Jonathan E and everything he said panned out- no jargon, no hidden costs (I feel- we will see when I get my bill.)
I am happy I switched, now I can stream videos and movies on the go without worrying about exceeding my data limit.
Unlimited, text and data for $55
With Verizon, I was on the plan that offers 4GB of Data. I won’t go into the pricing on that but will say, it was not cheap. I was tempted to go for their unlimited Data, talk and text plan for $80 (At the time of posting this article.) then I checked out Sprint and they had the same deal for $55
Another reason I switched to Sprint from Verizon besides, unlimited, text and data for $55 was the customer service at Sprint. The service was friendly and informational!
To put the icing on the cake, I will get $5 off my Bill because I set up autopay! So I will be paying $50 for Unlimited Data, text and talk.
I do not work for Sprint nor am I affiliated with them other than being a customer. Any comments in the video have not been paid for, endorsed or solicited by Sprint.
Blood Pressure: Has the ability to lower blood pressure. The plant’s high concentration of potassium, a vasodilator, helps to relieve tension within the cardiovascular system by relaxing the blood vessels and arteries, thereby helping to prevent atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes.
High in potassium, a vasodilator, which helps relieve tension within the cardiovascular system by relaxing the blood vessels and arteries, helps to prevent atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes.
Digestive Issues: Most well-known as a digestive aid for many different reasons.
High concentration of fibers help to stimulate the digestive system and move food smoothly through the bowels, relieving constipation and preventing bloating, cramping, and ulcers. Inulin, a particular type of fiber found in burdock, is able to reduce inflammation in the gut and eliminate many types of harmful bacteria that can cause diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems.
Diabetes: The significant levels of insulin in burdock can also lower overall blood cholesterol by eliminating it from the body, thereby further protecting your cardiovascular system.
Detoxify the Liver: Stimulates bile production and digestive juices in the gut, which helps the liver more rapidly process toxins and flush them from the system. Burdock’s organic compounds and components have been directly linked to improving this function.
Skin Health: One of the most common side effects of constipation, high toxicity in the blood, or poor dietary habits is skin inflammation, manifesting as spots, pimples, acne, rashes, or discoloration. Many herbalists recommend burdock root supplements and herbs for the treatment of skin conditions, as this powerful herb can solve the underlying problems of toxicity or constipation in a fast and efficient way, leading to clearer, healthier skin.
Hormonal Balance: Having a hormonal disorder can be destructive and difficult for your life. To avoid that, you want to add foods and herbs that can regulate hormonal activity in the body. Burdock is able to help the liver metabolize certain hormones, like estrogen, which can help to rebalance the body’s hormonal levels to normalcy. Excess estrogen is the cause of many dangerous or even deadly hormonal disorders, so adding some burdock root to your weekly diet is never a bad idea!
Immune Health: The significant levels of vitamin C and vitamin E, both of which act as antioxidants in the body to eliminate free radicals, mean that burdock is a major booster to our immune system function. These antioxidants have been linked to preventing infections, lowering one’s risk of cancer, and generally supporting proper growth, development, and repair of the body’s cells and tissues.
A Final Word of Warning: Although this is somewhat rare, there are limited allergies to burdock, so be sure to consult a doctor before adding it to your health regimen. Also, for those people using potassium-sparing diuretic therapy, eating too much burdock (with its significant levels of potassium) may aggravate the system and result in potassium toxicity. As always, everything should be consumed in moderation.
Elderberries pack a very nutritious punch, including minerals like iron, potassium, phosphorous, and copper, as well as vitamins, such as vitamin A, vitamin B, and vitamin C, proteins, and dietary fiber. Add some of the beneficial organic compounds that function as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents in the body, and you have one powerful berry!
Health Benefits Of Elderberries
Digestive Health: Although most fruits and vegetables can help you hit your fiber goals for the day, few fruits can boast more than 40% of your daily requirements for fiber in a single serving. Elderberries are packed with dietary fiber that can help eliminate constipation, reduce excess gas, and generally increase the health of your gastrointestinal system. Fiber can also help to increase the nutrient uptake efficiency in your gut so you get more out of your food!
Cardiovascular Protection: It seems that heart health and fruits and vegetables go hand in hand, and with good reason. The high fiber levels help to eliminate excess cholesterol from the system and make room for “good” cholesterol that the body needs. This can help eliminate the chances of developing atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular issues. The high levels of potassium in elderberries also protects the heart by relaxing the tension of blood vessels and arteries. As a vasodilator, potassium can significantly reduce blood pressure and keep your heart healthy!
Respiratory Health: When it comes to clearing up a sore throat, a cough, cold, bronchitis, or any other issue that affects your respiratory system, elderberry juice might be your best choice. Like many cough syrups, elderberries contain active ingredients (bioflavanoids like anthocyanins, to be exact) that can soothe inflammation and irritation and also act as an expectorant and clear out phlegm that can trap foreign agents in your glands. Elderberry juice is even recommended for people with asthma.
Immune System Health: It seems like people love to discuss elderberries in relation to its effects on the immune system. It does have certain antibacterial and anti-infectious qualities, and it is very commonly used to ward off influenza during bad seasons where it seems that everyone is catching it. Furthermore, elderberries can strengthen the immune system against itself, protecting against the effects of autoimmune disorders, even alleviating certain symptoms and associated pain of AIDS.
Diabetes Aid: Some of the active antioxidant ingredients in elderberries work directly on the pancreas to regulate insulin and glucose levels, either providing stability for people who suffer from diabetes or helping non-diabetics to avoid developing this terrible condition.
Bone Health and Inflammation: While the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds found in elderberries can help alleviate joint pain and soreness from inflammation, the high levels of essential minerals will help promote bone strength and the development of new bone tissue. Osteoporosis is a condition that millions of people face in the future, but increasing bone density during your younger decades can delay the onset considerably.
Inflammatory Conditions: Inflammatory issue eg gout, arthritis, or even aching muscles and joints, the active ingredients of sarsaparilla can help alleviate those pains. Sarsaparilla contains various compounds, such as saponins, parillin, and other flavonoids that can soothe those flare ups within the body and alleviate pain and discomfort.
Immune System Booster: The natural antibacterial properties of sarsaparilla berries and the compounds in the roots make this herbal supplement a wonderful way to increase the strength of your immune system. The antibacterial properties can also help prevent infections on the skin and generally improve your response time to colds and other common illnesses.
Weight Loss Efforts: Although research is still ongoing to determine the exact chemical pathway for this health benefit, it appears that sarsaparilla is able to suppress appetite, which means that for those trying to lose weight, adding this supplement can curb your cravings and keep you from cheating on your diet.
Cancer Prevention: The presence of antioxidants in the root and extract of sarsaparilla has been very exciting for cancer researchers around the world looking into more natural and herbal remedies. Although research has not been conclusive, the early results show positive associations between the flavonoid and sterol contents of the plant and a reduction in cancerous cells. Antioxidants are able to neutralize free radicals, the cancer-causing byproducts of cellular respiration, and there are plenty of antioxidants in sarsaparilla!
Increase Sex Drive: One of the more traditional uses of sarsaparilla was to increase the libido of men and women in an effort to increase fertility. Some of the organic compounds found in this root extract have been shown to increase blood flow and boost sperm motility, thereby increasing the chances of conception and improving overall sex drive.
Skin Health: The antibacterial properties of sarsaparilla are one reason why the topical application of this extract (in salves and creams) is so popular, but the antioxidant content can also affect the appearance and youth of skin. By eliminating wrinkles and reducing the appearance of age spots, when applied or consumed, sarsaparilla can keep you looking young!
Detoxify the Body: Sarsaparilla has long been used as a diuretic, which means that it stimulates urination in those who consume it. For people who want to purify their body or detoxify in some way, a diuretic can eliminate excess fats, salts, toxins, and water from the body. Furthermore, sarsaparilla has been known to purify the blood, thereby increasing overall health and reducing strain on the liver and kidneys.
A Final Word of Warning: Some of the organic compounds that grant such powerful health benefits can be dangerous or toxic in large doses. For example, consuming high quantities of saponins, which are found in sarsaparilla, can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, and indigestion in some people. Also, the powdered form of the herb, or “sarsaparilla dust” can cause allergic reactions that may resemble asthma in some patients. As always, consult a medical professional before making any major changes to your herbal health habits.
